I've been looking for a recipe like this to try and get my family to eat them. Kudos for this one! Easy AND tasty. - 1/11/09

Wow! These are so simple to make, and yet probably my best green-bean-related experience ever. My little sister, who is -- at best -- indifferent to green beans, freaked out when she tasted these. They'll definitely be making many more appearances at the family table. - 9/11/08

Made this with fresh green beans cut into 1.5" lengths. My hubby even enjoyed the almonds - a surprise because he isn't a nut fan. The cooking method took the "squeak" out of the beans, too! Delicious! - 1/25/15

This was very good, and a definate trade up from just plain frozen green beans - 1/3/11
