Introduction

This recipe makes the house smell so good all day long while it cooks. And it taste good, too! This recipe makes the house smell so good all day long while it cooks. And it taste good, too!

Ingredients

    2 large potatoes, sliced
    2 medium carrots, sliced
    2 cups onion, sliced
    1 16 oz can peas, drained
    1.5 pounds ground venison
    1 10.75 oz can tomato soup
    1 10.75 oz can water
    Salt
    Pepper

Tips

You can substitute the veggies for others or just add more veggies to taste. For example, use green beans instead of peas. Or include green or red pepper.


Directions

1) Brown meat then mix with tomato soup and water.
2) Place layers of veggies in crock pot in order given. (Potatoes. Then carrots. Then onion. Then peas.) Season each layer with salt and pepper.
3) Place meat mixture on top of veggies in crock pot.
4) Cover and set on high 4-5 hours or on low 6-8 hours.

Serving Size: Makes 4-6 servings
