    2.5 - 3lbs moose meat
    1cup chopped carrot
    1cup chopped turnip
    1 cup chopped onion
    3cups pureed tomatoes
    0.5 cup chopped celery
    1 cup pearled barley
    salt and pepper


Cut and chop meat and vegetables in to small cubes. Put everything in a 5 quart slow cooker and cover with enough water to cover everything. Set cooker for 8 hours on low. Season to taste. Makes about 10 servings.

    I cannot stand turnips, but would sub either zucchini or parsnips for them. SOunds really good! - 2/19/18
