Old Fashioned Quaker Oatmeal- Plain (3 cup dry)
Silk, Plain Soymilk, 4 cups
.5 cup water
Walnuts, .5 cup, chopped
4 tbsp flax seed meal
Tips
If cooked in the microwave decrease power to 50%. At full power the microwave will become an oatmeal mess!
Directions
Follow instructions on oatmeal box substitute silk for water. Add flax. Add additional water as needed for desired consistency. Top with walnuts. Fruit and or brown sugar are other equally delicious topping alone or in conjunction with walnuts.
