Ingredients

    Easy Herb Roasted Chicken
    3-4 lb. Chicken
    2 Tbsp. Canola oil
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1 tsp. Basil
    ½ tsp each: salt, sage, and thyme
    ¼ tsp. Lemon pepper

Directions

Brush chicken with oil. Rub on garlic. Mix spices and rub on chicken. Roast at 375 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes

    I made this today and it was incredible! I used 6 cloves of garlic and rubbed it and the spices on top and under the skin. This was my first time roasting a whole chicken and will do it again! So easy! - 12/31/09

    I made this one tonight! Meat was moist and tender...and the legs just fell away. Being a novice cook, next time I am going to try and rub the herb mixture and garlic under the skin as well. - 9/24/09

    Mine's in the oven, too--I doubled the rub ingredients and did inside and under the skin. I also stuffed the cavity with quarters of delicious apple from our apple tree--think it's going to be a hit. - 9/29/09
