I was looking for a chili recipe and found one that looked good. I didn't have all the ingredients so I did some substitutions and end up with an amazing chili that my family loves. Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1 1/4 lb of ground turkey (93%)
    1 large onion
    1 green bell pepper
    2 tbsp chili powder
    1/4 tsp black pepper
    2 cans diced tomatos
    1 8 oz can of tomato sauce
    1 can black beans drained and rinsed
    1 can of kidney beans drained and rinsed

    Top with:
    cheese, green onion and chopped tomato if desired.

Tips

the cheese, green onion and tomato are not included in the calorie calculations since it is optional.


Directions

Cook ground turkey, onions and green pepper in a fry pan or stock pot. Add remaining and ingredients and cook on medium heat for about 20 minutes.
