Introduction

Note: all measurements are ounces by weight. Note: all measurements are ounces by weight.
Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

4 oz. (1/2 cup) nonfat milk
4 oz. (1/2 cup) 2% milk vanilla Greek yogurt (I use Cabot vanilla bean)
    4 oz. (113.4 g) frozen sliced peaches
    4 oz. (113.4 g) frozen mango chunks
    1/2 medium fresh banana
1 packet "Sugar in the Raw" turbinado sugar

Tips

This can be varied in any number of ways with different fruit types. My particular fruit choices for this recipe were based on fruits with no seeds (per my oral surgeon -- blasted gum surgery!). It has actually made my recovery process MUCH less miserable than it could have been :)

Directions

Place the blender vessel on top of a food scale with a tare function. Add each of the first 4 ingredients, 4 oz. by weight. Slice 1/2 banana, and add 1 packet "Sugar in the Raw" (if desired) on top. Blend until chunk-free. This may require stopping the blender on occasion to rearrange various chunks of frozen fruit from around the blender blades at times.

A good sign the smoothie is actually "smooth" is that the ingredients in the blender finally start swirling into a tornado or "vortex" when you look down into the top of the canister/ vessel.

Serving Size: makes 1 large-ish smoothie
