Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1/2 CUP butter
    1 green pepper, chopped
    1 CUP fresh mushrooms, cupped
    1/2 CUP flour
    1.5 CUPS milk (skim or other)
    1 CUP chicken broth (or water and add chicken bouillion)
    2 CUPS cooked CHICKEN or TURKEY

    PASTA, TOAST or RICE to serve over (NOT INCLUDED)

Directions

Melt Butter in saucepan
Add green pepper and mushrooms and cook until pepper is crisp-tender
Sprinkle with flour
Season with salt and pepper
Stir and remove from heat
Add milk and broth
Stir until incorporated
Return to heat until boiling, turn heat to low/simmer
Add chicken or turkey and cook until heated through

SERVE OVER COOKED PASTA, RICE or TOAST
