Ingredients

    2.5 cups old fashioned oats
    1 cup chocolate chips
    1 cup sunflower seeds
    1/2 cup raisins
    1/2 cup rice krispies
    1/3 cup brown sugar
    1/4 cup whole wheat flour
    1/2 tsp kosher salt

    1/2 cup canola oil
    1/4 cup honey
    1/4 cup agave nectar
    1 tsp vanilla extract

Tips

After baking for 20 minutes, start to check the bars for browning around the edges. It only takes 25 minutes in my oven, but the recipe I adapted it from said to bake for 40 minutes, which would have burnt to a crisp in my oven.

Directions

Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Combine first set of ingredients (dry) in a large bowl. In a small bowl, whisk together the second set of ingredients (wet). Pour the wet ingredients over the dry ingredients and mix well until dry ingredients are coated. Place granola mixture in a greased 9" x 13' cake pan. Bake for 25-40 minutes, until just starting to brown around the edges. Cool and cut into bars.
