Ingredients

1 can Campbell's Cream of Mushroom Soup
    1 lb Ground Beef
    1/3 C dry bread crumbs
    1 small onion, finely chopped
    1 egg, beaten
    1 tbsp vegetable oil
    1 1/2 C sliced mushrooms

Tips

I saute my mushrooms first, then add them back in at step 3. I also brown my patties very, very well. The patties can fall apart if simmered too long in the soup mixture.

Directions

1. Mix 1/4 C soup, beef, bread crumbs, onions and egg thoroughly. Shape firmly into 4 patties, 1/2" thick.
2. In skillet over medium-high heat, heat oil. Cook patties until well browned. Set patties aside. Pour off fat.
3. Add remaining soup and mushrooms. Heat to a bol. Return patties to pan. Cover and cook over low heat 20 mins. or until patties are done (160 degrees). Serves 4
