Ingredients

    1 small head of Red Cabbage, shredded
    2 mid-sized Purple-top Turnips, cut into a small dice
    1.5 lbs 90% Ground Beef
    1/2 tsp salt
    black pepper
    1/2 stick Butter (optional)
    2 boxes Mrs. T's Potato, Spinach, and Feta Peirogies



Tips

Cooking the beef is obviously more important than cooking the cabbage thoroughly. In fact, keeping the cabbage firm is better for you, but it's all a matter of taste. I also like onions in it, I just didnt have any.

This may also be made with any meat. Original recipe called for green cabbage and bacon, but I decided to be "healthy".... it's really just a cheap "put whatever you want in it" kind of meal :)


Directions

combine all but the pierogies in an extra large skillet. and cook on med-high heat until meat is cooked thoroughly and cabbage is wilted.

While cabbage mixture is cooking, boil water in large pot and cook pierogies according to box directions.

When everything is done, serve and eat.. but most of all, enjoy :)
