Introduction

This is easy and yummy! You could probably use a jar of pasta sauce and get the same results. This is easy and yummy! You could probably use a jar of pasta sauce and get the same results.

Ingredients

    - Instant Whole Grain Brown Rice, 2 cups prepared
    - Condensed Tomato Soup
    - Water according to soup's directions
    - Italian Spices
    - Garlic Powder
    - Black Pepper
    - Red Pepper

Tips

- You can probably use uncooked instant rice, too, but you'll need to add more water and you might have to cook the soup longer.

- I like to add Parmesan cheese to this!

- You can definitely use homemade soup!

Directions

- Add water according to soup's direction and condensed soup to pot; bring to simmer.

- Add spices, garlic powder, and black pepper to soup and stir. A smidge of red pepper is also great, but don't use too much or it'll!

- Add prepared brown rice, stir. Taste and add more seasonings if desired. I usually add more water since the rice will absorb the soup and cause it to thicken it up more than I like.
