Ingredients
-
1 Can Tomato Sauce
12 Oz (3/4 pound) Ground Turkey
2 Cups Chopped Green Beans
1 Cup Chopped Onion
1 Cup Brown Rice
Any seasonings/spices.
Directions
*Note* Rice should be 1 cup, cooked.
Cook the ground turkey in a nonstick frying pan (or in the microwave), adding whatever spices you please (I recommend salt, ground black pepper, powdered garlic, and crushed red pepper flakes). Drain off extra grease and add in the chopped onion and green beans (I use thawed frozen green beans from Costco, it's easy that way), frying until the onion is fragrant.
Meanwhile, mix the tomato sauce in with the rice until well combined.
Pour rice mixture in with the turkey and cook until heated through.
