Ingredients

2lbs 7%Fat Lean Ground Beef
1/4cup chopped onion
1/4cup green bell peppers
16oz tomato sauce
1/2cup kethcup
1/8tsp pepper
12 slices Sargento Ultra-Thin Colby-Jack Cheese Slices
2cans (7.5oz) only using 18 Pillsbury Homestyle Biscuits
Directions
Heat oven to 400 degrees.
In a large skillet heat onion, bell peppers and add meat. Cook until meat is cooked thoroughly.
Stir in tomato sauce, ketchup, and pepper. Reduce heat and simmer about 5 minutes.
Spoon 1/3 of the meat mixture in the bottom of a casserole dish, top with half of the cheese slices, add another 1/2 of the meat left and top with the rest of the cheese and then top with the remaining meat mixture.
Separate the biscuits and line them around the outside of the casserole dish.
Bake for about 20 minutes @ 400 degrees or until the biscuits brown.
Serving Size: Makes 8 servings (approximately 2.5 biscuits per serving)
