Introduction

Delicious and tender pulled pork with homemade BBQ sauce Delicious and tender pulled pork with homemade BBQ sauce
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1 cup Ketchup, Heinz,
    1/4 tsp Pepper, white,
    1/4 tsp Chili powder,
2 tbsp Lea & Perrins, Worcestershire Sauce,
    2 tbsp Brown Sugar,
1 capful of Liquid Smoke (your choice of flavor)
    Pork tenderloin

Tips

I have subsituted natural honey for brown sugar to git it a more honey bbq flavor. The liquid smoke comes in several flavors, but I normally use the Hickory one.

Directions

In a smal bowl, blend ketchup, white pepper, chili powder, worcestershire sauce, brown sugar and liquid smoke. If the sauce is still reddish, add a bit more worcestershire and blend until brownish in color. Spice to taste.

Spray liner of crock pot with non-stick spray. Place uncooked pork tenderloin in crockpot. Cover with sauce and cook on low 4-6 hours.

Shred tenderloin with forks and serve over whole wheat rolls.
