Soup Soup
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    250g French beans
    1tbp olive oil
    1 tbp chicken stock
    1/2 tbp whole cumin seeds
    2 pints boiling filtered water
    one onion
    one garlic clove
    salt and pepper to taste
    2 tbps single cream
    100g smoked bacon cut to smal pieces and fried beforehand and added to soup when finished (for non vegetarians)

Directions

Fry onion, garlic and cumin until onion slightly brown
Add French beans, Water, vegetable stock
Allow boiling for 2 mn
Mix in blender until smooth
Add cream and/or Bacon before serving

Serves 4 small bowls
For those not on low carb diet, you can add toasted bread slices cut into cubes to add interest.
