Ingredients
-
1.5 lb Beef, round steak
Sesame Oil,
Chili Oil,
.5 cup Onions, chopped
.5 cup Bamboo shoots,
.5 cup Waterchestnuts
1 cup fresh Bean Sprouts
1 red pepper, strips
1 bag Spinach, fresh,
.25 cup Lime Juice,
1 Tbsp Granulated Sugar,
Directions
Heat wok and add some of the chili oil and sesame oil according to your preference. More chili oil will make the dish hotter. Sesame oil will give a nutty flavor.
Once oil is hot, add beef and brown. Once brown, remove beef and add onion, bamboo shoots, waterchestnuts, bean sprouts and red pepper. Cook a couple minutes until onions turn translucent.
Return beef to pan and add spinach. It will not fit at first but as it heats it will shrink considerably.
Once the spinach is reduced add lime juice and sugar.
serve over rice.
