Introduction

I had some Tilapia, stewed tomatoes and bread crumbs on hand. I thought of how my Mom used to make stuffed fish, and this is my TRY at recreating it from memory. I wish I had parmesean cheese to add to it. I had some Tilapia, stewed tomatoes and bread crumbs on hand. Ingredients

Del Monte Diced Tomatoes, No Salt Added, 2 cup
*Progresso Bread Crumbs - Italian Style, 1 cup
    Pepper, black, 1 tbsp
*Crisco Pure Vegetable Oil, 4 tbsp
    Celery seed, 1 tbsp
*Tilapia filet, 20 oz (used 5 filets)
    Salt, 1 tsp

Directions

Take out a glass dish (I used a 10"). Add the odd to the baking dish, and then lay out two of the fish filets on it. Sprinkle 1/2 cup of bread crumbs and 1/2 the can of stewed tomatoes. Next, layer the rest of the filets on top, and then put the remaining bread crumbs and stewed tomatoes. Sprinkle salt and pepper on top, and then pop it into the over to bake for thirty minutes. And, serve still hot. Enjoy!
