Introduction

Adapted from one of my favourite recipes, this cake is under 200 cal per serving but I have to say it's hard to stop at just one! Adapted from one of my favourite recipes, this cake is under 200 cal per serving but I have to say it's hard to stop at just one!

Ingredients

    2 cups all purpose flour
    1 tsp baking powder
    1 tsp baking soda
    1/2 tsp salt
    1 cup sugar
    2 whole eggs
    1/4 cup melted butter
    1 cup mashed, ripe bananas
1/2 cup 0% fat natural greek yogourt
    1 tsp vanilla
1/4 cup mini milk (or dark) chocolate chips
1/4 cup mini white chocolate chips

Tips

Use your favourite chocolate. I like a mix of white and milk but feel free to experiment with dark or butterscotch... Sour cream or apple sauce can be used instead of the yogourt, margarine can be substituted for the butter. The batter is really really good so if you're trying to be careful, don't lick your fingers or you'll end up licking out the bowl. :)

Directions

Preheat oven to 350. Prepare a 9x13" pan with either a parchment paper or non-stick spray.

In one bowl, combine flour, baking powder & soda, and salt.

In another larger bowl, beat eggs and butter together. Mix in bananas, yogourt, and vanilla. Beat until smooth.

Slowly mix flour mixture into bowl with the banana mixture. Batter comes out very dense. Fold in chocolate.

Pour batter into pan. Bake for approx 30 min until done. Cut into 16 portions. Exercise willpower.
