    1 med. banana (very ripe)
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 egg
    2 c. carrots (gratted in food processor)
    1 small apple (gratted in food processor)
    1 c. whole wheat flour
    3/4 c. white flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. salt
    8 oz. low fat cream cheese
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    1 tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    dash of cinnamon


Beat banana and brown sugar until banana is mashed. Add egg and beat well, to this add the carrots and apple; stir. In anothr bowl mix together dry ingredients and add to wet mixture. Divide into ,16 cupcake holders and bake for 17 minutes @ 400 degrees.
For the icing, mix all ingredients until smooth. Spread onto cupcakes!
