Introduction

I had to come up with a pizza alternative because I have to watch my carbs....this is a yummy alternative! I had to come up with a pizza alternative because I have to watch my carbs....this is a yummy alternative!

Ingredients

    1 Pita Bread Oat & Whole Grain
    2 oz skinless, boneless chicken breast
    2 T Hunts garlic & Herb Pasta Sauce
    2 T green bell peppers
    2T grated Parmesan cheese
    4 T Mozzarella part skim cheese, shredded
    butter spray

Tips

can use sandwich thins to, but you will need to add additional carbs. The sandwich thins have 21 carbs opposed to the 10 carbs in Pita bread


Directions

spray butter spray on pita bread and broil in oven to very light brown to crisp it up, then put your sauce, parm cheese, chicken and veggies...if you are a veggie lover, load up on those!, top with mozzarella cheese, put back in oven and broil til cheese is melted and just starting to brown.
