Introduction

Easy Vegan Pasta Sauce Easy Vegan Pasta Sauce
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    1/4 cup smooth peanut butter
    2 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons soy sauce (Low sodium)
1/4 cup dry roasted peanuts, chopped
    (8 oz. pasta, dry)

Directions

1. Cook up the pasta. Pasta is not included in the nutrition information. Count it separately. Nutrition information is only for the sauce.

2. Mix together the peanut butter, honey, and soy sauce. Then mix it into the cooked pasta.

3. Divide into 4 portions, and sprinkle each portion with 1 tablespoon chopped peanuts.

4. This sauce is good with spaghetti or lingini. (Serve it with stir fried veggies, like carrots, peapods, onions, green peppers, broccoli, etc...) OR for kids, mix the sauce with macaroni and sprinkle with the peanuts (kind of a mac and cheese substitute). Don't try to bake it though -- it doesn't stay "creamy" -- it all gets absorbed into the pasta.
