Introduction

Don't let the name fool you...no chocolate here. A yummy low carb breakfast that is easy to make and store for a quick on the go breakfast. Don't let the name fool you...no chocolate here. A yummy low carb breakfast that is easy to make and store for a quick on the go breakfast.
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    4 cups of shredded chedder cheese
    1- 7oz can of diced green chiles
    4 eggs
    3 precooked sausage patties
    cooking spray

Directions

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 10 x 8 casserole dish with cooking spray. Then line bottom with 2 cups of shredded chedder cheese. Next heat your sasuage patties in microwave so you can cut up into little bite size pieces. In a bowl mix the eggs, chiles and sausage. Pour mixture over cheese in casserole dish and spread evenly. Then top with the remaining 2 cups of cheese. Cook for 30 minutes and then let cool for at least 10 so it will be easy to cut into bars.

Serving Size: Cut into 12 bars

    Incredible!
    I've had this breakfast using different recipes but this is the first I've come across adding sausage. Delicious and so fast to make. I've taken to pot lucks and it's always a winner. - 5/9/21
