Number of Servings: 3

Ingredients

    1 1/2 cups of water
    1 tbsp. honey
    2-3 small to medium Honeycrisp apples ( or apple of your choice) peeled, cored, and chopped
    1 cup oatmeal
    1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    Optional:
    1/2 cup (or more) of skim milk


Tips

Add your favorite nuts or a tbsp. or peanut butter for added protein.


Directions

-Combine the water, honey and apples in a medium saucepan and bring to a boil.
-Add the oatmeal and cinnamon and return to a boil.
-Reduce heat to low and simmer for 3-5 minutes.
-Serve portions of the oatmeal and add milk to taste.
