Introduction

Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

    1 box of Reduced Sugar Devil's Food Cake
    3 Egg whites
    1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
    1 1/4 Cups Water
    1 can of lite Cherry pie filling
    1 Tub of Fat Free Cool Whip

Directions

Mix cake mix, water, egg whites, and applesauce. Put in two 8' or 9' cake pans and bake at 350 degrees for 29-33 minutes for 9' and 31-35 minutes for 8'. Let cool.
Once cool slice cake in half so you have four layers. On bottom layer put some cherries in the middle and put on next layer put more cherries on in center, then next layer, repeat until layers are done and cherries are gone. no cherries should be on the top of the cake. Then cover the cake with whipped cream. Enjoy! :)

    Really good! You can also lower calories and fat by mixing one can of Diet Cola with cake mix and bake cake as directed. Cake will still be moist and taste great with alot less calories and fat. - 7/21/10

    Incredible!
    made it as a sheet cake in a 13 x 9 cake pan, spread the cherries on top of the baked, cooled cake. spread lite coolwhip on top and sprinkled crushed walnut on top. it was very, very good and a light way to finish a meal. - 2/14/08
