Ingredients

    2/3 cup milk
    1 tsp. salt
    4 Tbs. butter
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 cup pumpkin
    2 Tbs. yeast
    4 Tbs. sugar
    4 cups flour
    1 cinnamon filling recipe
    1 icing recipe

Directions

Heat milk and butter until warm and butter is almost melted. Add pumpkin, sugar, and salt. Stir until well mixed. Add eggs, yeast, and flour. Knead until smooth and elastic. Turn into greased bowl. Cover and let rise 1 hour. Punch down and roll into a 12 by 16 inch rectangle. . Mix the brown sugar, cinnamon, cloves, and salt together. Brush the dough with butter. Sprinkle the brown sugar mixture over the dough. Roll the dough into a tight cylinder and pinch the seam closed. Gently stretch the dough until it is 18 inches long. Slice it into 12 evenly sized rolls using floss or a serrated knife. Arrange on a greased 9x13-inch pan. Cover with greased plastic wrap, let rise until nearly doubled (1-1½ hrs.). Bake 25 to 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Drizzle icing over rolls while still warm. Yield: 1 dozen.
