Ingredients

4 oz chicken breast without skin
half a cup of cream of celery 98 % fat free
half a cup of cream of chicken 98 % fat free
6 oz of Mary B's Dumplings out of frozen section of store
    I can't believe it's not butter spray

Tips

You add or omit what you like. This is a pretty easy recipe. The hardest part is making sure the dumplings are completely done. The mary b dumplins are long so I break them in half before boiling to help them cook faster! You can add as much water as you like depending on how you like your chicken and dumplings. I like mine thick, not soupy.

Directions

Season your chicken breast with whatever season you like, placed seasonsed breast in a pot of boiling water and let it boil until cooked. When your chicken is done take it out and shredded it but leave the water from the boiled chicken in the pot for the flavoring. Add a half a cup of cream of celery and a half a cup of cream of chicken to the water. Then add your Mary B's Dumplings, if it is not enough water and soup in the pot to cover the dumplings completely in pot, add water so that the dumplings have enough liquid to boil. Spray about 5 squirt of I can't believe it's not butter to keep the dumplings from sticking to each other, bring to boil. Let the dumplings boil on medium heat for about 20 minutes and then add your shredded chicken. Let the chicken and dumplings cook for about 10 more minutes together. When the mixture appears to have a thick consistency turn your heat down to low and let it simmer for about 5 more minutes. Then you are ready to eat!
