Ingredients

    -3/4 Cup Applesauce, unsweetened
-1/4 Cup Egg White (Naturegg Simply Egg Whites) (about 2 whites)
-1 tbsp flax seed oil , organic (Can use any other oil)
-6 tbsp Philadelphia Light cream cheese, softened
-3/4 Cup Cottage Cheese, 1% Milkfat
-3/4 Cup Instant Skim Milk Powder (Fat Free)
    -1.5 Cups Oats (regular)
-1/2 Cup Oat Flour (or use additional 1/2 cup oats, ground in blender or food processor)
-5 scoops protein powder of your choice (I used 3 natural whey, and 2 vanilla. President's Choice brand providing 27g protein/110 calorie scoop)
    -1 Gala Apple, chopped
-1/4 cup Walnuts, chopped (optional, but included in the nutritional info here)

May add cinnamon, nutmeg, or allspice if desired.

Directions

Mix all wet ingredients by hand in a bowl (may stay a bit chunky). You could probably do this in a blender or food processor if you wanted.

Mix dry ingredients together in larger bowl. Add wet ingredients to dry, mixing together well.

Spice mixture if desired using cinnamon or nutmeg. Mix in chopped apple and nuts.

Pour into glass or tin baking dish (I used a 9"X13" glass dish as that's all I had), sprayed lightly with nonstick spray. Bake at 325*F for 20-30 minutes until toothpick comes out clean! Allow to cool and cut into squares or bars.

Serving Size: Makes 24 squares (approx 2"x2")
