    1 lb hamburger
    1 diced carrot
    1/2 onion
    1 thin sliced stalk of celery
    3 small cloves garlic diced
    1 small can sliced mushrooms
    1 can fat free cream of celery soup
    1 can fat free cream of mushroom soup
    5 potatoes mashed
    1/4 c romano cheese
    2 T light butter
    1 c grated cheddar
    salt and pepper


calories can be reduced by leaving out cheeses, mushrooms, and using ground turkey or chicken


boil cubed potatoes while you:

saute hamburger, carrot, onion, selery until vegetables are tranlucent,
add garlic and saute til hamburger is brown,
add mushrooms and soups and heat through

mash potatoes,
add small amount of cooking water, romano cheese, butter, salt and pepper

pour hamburger mix into 9X13 baking dish,
top with mashed potatoes,
bake 15 minutes in 350 degree oven,
sprinkle grated cheddar on top and bake for 10 to 15 minutes more
sprinkle with grated cheddar
