Ingredients

    0.422 cup red lentils
    0.9 cup water
    0.25 tsp salt

    1 egg
    30 grams bread crumbs
    0.1 cup almond flour
    0.5 tbsp chili powder
    0.5 tbsp curry powder
    0.25 tbsp cinnamon (or less, if you don't trust me! ;)
    0.5 tbsp nutmeg
    1 tsp white pepper
    2 tbsp fresh basil or 2 tsp dried basil

    1 tsp olive oil (or more if wished)

Tips

Serve with whole-wheat roll and mixed vegetables.


Directions

Boil the red lentils in the salt-seasoned water for 10 minutes. Add the egg, (whole-wheat) bread crumbs, almond flour and seasonings and stir until the mixture is even. Put a pan on the stove and let the olive oil warm up, then form the patties with wet hands and let them get brownish on each side. This will take approx. 5 min per side. Enjoy!
