Introduction
Admittedly, this is not the healthiest tea, but I sought an alternative to the (too) sweet tea that I grew up with. My family seems to enjoy this a bit more and it's better for us than the old recipe. Enjoy! Ingredients

3 cups water
6 tea bags
1 lemon
3/4 cups sugar
1/3 pitcher of ice
3 (or more) cups water
1 pitcher
Directions
1. Bring the initial 3 cups of water to a boil.
2. Let the tea bags sit in the water as it boils.
3. Remove water from the stove and allow the tea to steep for 10 minutes.
4. While the tea is steeping, cut the lemon into slices and squeeze its juices into the pitcher.
5. Put the remains of the lemon slices into the bottom of the pitcher.
6. Fill 1/3 of the pitcher with ice.
7. Pour the sugar into the pitcher over the ice.
8. When the tea is finished steeping, remove the tea bags and pour the tea into the pitcher over the other ingredients.
9. Fill the rest of the pitcher with cold water.
10. Stir until the ice is pretty much melted.
11. Mmmm!
Serving Size: makes 6 (or more) servings depending on the size of your pitcher
