Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

1 bottle dry, inexpensive red wine (Merlot or Cabernet Sauvignon suggested)
    1 Orange, sliced into wedges
    1 Lemon, sliced into wedges
    1 Lime, sliced into wedgets
1 cup strawberries (sliced), raspberries, or blueberries
    4 cups Diet Ginger Ale
2 tablespoons granulated Splenda or 2 packets Splenda (can also substitute with Sugar or other sweetener)
Splash of diet orange juice or diet lemonade

Tips

You can use frozen berries, or other fruits (apples, peaches, mangos, or melons would be great to try) in place of berries. If the citrus fruits are large, consider removing some of the wedges AFTER the sangria chills in the fridge. Don't skip chilling it in the fridge! This is important to allow all the flavors to meld. You can also add brandy, triple sec, or other flavored liquors to taste, 2-3 shots. Have fun and make it your own!
