Introduction

My husband's favorite cookie! Worth the extra workout time. My husband's favorite cookie! Worth the extra workout time.
Number of Servings: 40

Ingredients

    1 Cup Unsalted Butter
    2 Eggs, room temp
    1 1/2 Cups Granulated Sugar
2 3/4 Cups All Pupose (AP) Flour
    1/2 tsp Salt
    1 tsp Baking Soda
2 Heaping tsps of Cream of Tarter
3 additional Tbsps of Granulated Sugar mixed with 1 Tbsp of Ground Cinnamon for rolling (set aside)

Tips

I roll all my balls at once, then chill for another hour or so. This makes them a little less chewy. If you prefer a chewier cookie, this step isn't necessary.

Directions

Cream together the butter, eggs, and sugar for about 2 - 3 minutes until light and fluffy. Then add all remaining ingredients and mix until combined well, about another minute.

Move dough to a air-tight container and refrigerate for 2 hours.

Roll dough into walnut sized balls, then roll in the cinnamon sugar mixture.

Place on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 400 degrees (F) for 8 - 10 minutes. Enjoy!

Serving Size: Makes 40 cookies, at one cookie a serving.
