Ingredients

Beef Loin Sirloin Steak Boneless 1.50 lbs cubed
    Medium White Onion chopped
    Garlic Powder 2 tsp
    Hy-Vee Sour Cream 8 oz
    McCormick Beef Stroganoff Sauce Mix
Amish Kitchen Wide Egg Noodles 12 oz pkg
    Mushrooms 2 cups sliced white
    Salt & Pepper to taste
    Tabasco to taste

Tips

We use the Tabasco just to add flavor, not heat. If you use it sparingly, you won't feel the heat.
Using sirloin, the cubed beef is tender.

Directions

Heat Olive Oil on med-high, add chopped onion and saute until translucent. Add beef and garlic powder. Cook meat to taste. Prepare seasoning mix as directed and add to beef. Bring to boil to thicken sauce. Add sliced muchrooms. Reduce temp to medium. Cook 10 minutes or until mushrooms reach desired doneness.
While meat is simmering, prepare noodles as directed on package. Keep stirring meat. Just before noodles are done add sour cream to meat and stir. Let simmer until noodles are ready. Drain noodles and add beef mixture.
