Ingredients

2 oz. milk or soy milk
    1 tsp vanilla
    1 egg

    1 cup butter or shortening
    1 cup white sugar
    1/2 cup brown sugar

    2 1/4 cups flour

Tips

I make these with no baking soda, and no salt, and they taste great! I make them with butter or shortening - either way - and with dairy or parve chocolate chips depending upon my need.

Directions

Mix milk (or soy milk) with egg and vanilla. Cream crisco or 1 cup butter with 1 cup sugar and 1/2 cup brown sugar. Add milk/egg/vanilla mixture. Add 2 1/4 cup flour, then add chocolate chips. Place cookies on parchment paper and bake at 350 for 10 to 12 minutes until just slightly golden brown at the edges.
