Strawberry Banana Shake
1 cup strawberries - fresh or frozen
1 medium-sized banana - fresh or frozen
1 cup plain lowfat yogurt
1 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Ice cubes - optional
This recipe is comparable in calories and nutrition to the Banana Shake on page 99 of Health's The Carb Lovers Diet book. I substituted yogurt for 1% milk, sugar for honey, then added strawberries.
