Introduction

A very quick, easy, versatile recipe, this is the base recipe that I use. A very quick, easy, versatile recipe, this is the base recipe that I use.

Ingredients

    2 Tbsp Sesame Oil
    1lb Lean Ground Turkey
    1/4 cup chopped onions(or more to taste)
    3 cloves of garlic, minced
    1/4 cup Soy Sauce
    1 Tbsp Hot Chili Sauce
    1 tsp ground ginger
    1/2 tsp ground gloves
    pepper to taste
    12 large lettuce leaves

Tips

Feel free to add some veggies (red peppers and mushrooms are really good), or maybe some brown rice. We often find it a pain to roll up the lettuce, and just end up eating it almost like a salad. I've made it vegan style with Tofu in place of turkey and it was really good as well!. Use your imagination!!!


Directions

Add oil to 10 inch skillet, then add turkey. Crumble and begin to cook over medium heat. Stir in onions, garlic, soy sauce, chili sauce, ground ginger, ground cloves, and pepper. Cook, stirring frequently until turkey is browned and all liquid is absorbed. Then spoon into lettuce leaves, and enjoy.

Serving Size: 3 wraps, apx. 1 oz meat mixture per wrap
