6 medium Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored and chopped
    2 tbsp light brown sugar
    1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
    1 1/4 cups water

Put prepped apples, brown sugar, cinnamon and water into crock pot, stir together.

Cook on high for 2-3 hours, stirring if necessary to prevent hard sugar build-up on the pot walls.

When finished cooking, stir and allow to cool. Mash to preferred consistency with the back of a fork or a potato masher. Serve cold. Store in refrigerator for up to three days.
