I got the idea for this recipe from Paula Dean's son Bobby. I just made some adjustments. You can add or take away. If you want to add more yogurt and cut back the powdered sugar that would be fine.

Ingredients

    Cake, yellow, dry mix, light, 1 package (18.50 oz)
    Buttermilk, lowfat, .5 cup
    Egg white, 1 serving
    *Canola Oil, 1 tbsp
    Neufchatel Cheese, 1 package (3 oz)
    Vanilla Extract, 1 tsp
    Butter, unsalted, 1 tbsp
    Yogurt, plain, low fat, 0.5 container (4 oz)
    Egg white, 1 serving
    Powdered Sugar .75 cup, unsifted

Tips

IT really is up to you what kind of cake. I used a sugar free cake, and egg beaters.You can try different extracts like lemon or almond. I will try to upload a pic.


Directions

Preheat oven to 350 Spray 9x9 baking disk with nonstick spray.
Place cake mix in a large bowl. Whisk together buttermilk, 1 egg or Egg Beater=, and oil in a small bowl until blended. Add buttermilk mixture to the cake mix, stirring until blended. Pour mixture into baking dish.
Beat cream cheese until smooth. Beat in sugar, yogurt egg or =, vanilla, and butter. Spread over the cake mixture. Bake 40-50 mins. You WANT the center to be a little gooey. so do not over BAKE.
