Introduction

We use this mostly for breakfast, it's french toast like. Using it as a meal, instead of dessert makes it easier to fit into my calories. We use this mostly for breakfast, it's french toast like. Using it as a meal, instead of dessert makes it easier to fit into my calories.

Ingredients

    8 Wheat burger buns
    4 eggs
    2cups milk
    1T butter
    3/4 C sugar
    1 t vanilla
    1 t cinnamon
    optional 1/2 C raisins

Tips

I don't grease the pan because we like crispy edges. This is a great way to use up old leftover buns, but could easily be done with bread too.


Directions

Cut up old leftover buns, place in 9x13 pan. Pour melted butter over buns. Mix other ingredients and pour over top. Bake 350 for about 40 min. Add 1/2 cup raisins with the butter *optional, my kids don't like them so I leave them out.

Serving Size: Makes 8 hearty pieces
