Ingredients

4 cups whole wheat flour
1tbsp yeast
1tbsp sugar
1 cup warm water
1/2 cup milk
4 tbsp butter
Directions
Melt butter in milk. Mix warm water, yeast and sugar in a bowl and sit until all the yeast disintegrates and becomes puffy.
Mix flour and salt in large bowl. Add milk/butter and yeast mixture. Knead with hands until elastic and cleans bowl.
Let rise until double. Roll out until about 1/2 inch thick and cut out shapes. Heat non stick skillet or cast iron on medium low heat. Cook buns each side for about 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
