Ingredients

1/4 TBSP Olive Oil
2 Italian chicken sausages- mild italian
1/2 cup (4 oz) Plum tomatoes, chopped
1/2 cup Onion, chopped
1/4 tsp Garlic puree
1/2 tsp Lemon Juice
1/2 tsp Dried Parsley
1/2 tsp Dried Oregano
3 cups Fresh Spinach
2 TBSP Water
1/4 cup (2 oz) Fat Free Ricotta Cheese
2 TBSP DiGiorno Shredded Parmesan Cheese
4 oz Whole Grain Pasta
Tips
Using flavored pasta is a nice way to change up the dish.
Directions
In a large skillet, heat olive oil.
Add sausages, tomatoes, onion, garlic, lemon juice, herbs and 2 TBSP water.
Season with salt and pepper if desired.
Cook until the sauce is thick, about 20 minutes.
Stir in spinach until it begins to soften.
Stir in ricotta and remove from the heat.
Meanwhile, cook pasta in a pot of rapidly boiling salted water until al dente (about 8-10 minutes). Stir frequently to prevent sticking.
Rinse and drain pasta and serve with sauce.
