Ingredients

    1.5 pounds venison steak
    seasoned salt
    pepper
    4 oz can mushrooms, drained
    1 can 98% fat free cream of mushroom soup
    1 medium onion, sliced thin
    3/4 C water
    1/2 C butter

Tips

Next time I'd at least cut the butter in half and perhaps leave it out altogether to cut calorie count. I apologize for the category--It wouldn't let me enter the appropriate one for venison.


Directions

Season each steak with salt and pepper. Layer in bottom of 2" deep casserole dish. Mix remaining ingredients in large bowl. Pour over steaks. Bake, covered, for 2 hours at 350.
