Ingredients
-
Ingredients:
Small Red Bean, 0.75 cup
Water, tap, 8 cup (64 fl oz)
NoSalt (original) Sodium-Free Salt, 3 tsp
Garlic powder, 1 tbsp
93% Lean Ground Beef, 8 oz
Onions, raw, 1 large
Bear Creak "Darn Good Chili" Mix, 8 cup
Low Sodium Tomato Paste, 6 serving
Tips
If too spicy, add water to taste
Directions
Soak and boil the Small Red Beans until they are 'al dente' (almost but not quite soft yet)
Add the NoSalt and the Garlic Powder
Fry the ground beef & drain on kitchen towel.
Wipe the skillet dry, add some non-stick spray
(I mix 1 tbsp olive oil with 3 tbsp water in a spray bottle and use that as non-stick spray. It lasts a long time yet prevents food from sticking to the skillet),
add the ground beef and a large onion cut-up in small pieces. When the onion colors slightly add the ground beef and onion mixture to the beans.
Add the 'Darn Good Chili' Mix
Add the Low Sodium Tomato Paste
