Introduction

Slightly chunky but quite tasty creamy tomato soup. Slightly chunky but quite tasty creamy tomato soup.

Ingredients

    3 Tbsp. butter
    1 sm. onion
    1. md. carrot
    1. stalk celery
    1/3 c. flour
    4 c. whole milk
    1 28oz. tomato puree
    1/2 jar (3 oz.) tomato paste
    1 tsp. basil & thyme
    sea salt to taste
    1/2 tsp. worcestershire
    pepper to taste
    1 c. cheese (optional - calories not included here)

Directions

In a 4-quart saucepan, saute vegetables until tender. Combine milk & flour until smooth. Slowly add to saucepan, stir. Add remaining ingredients except cheese. Simmer for 20 minutes. Add cheese & stir until melted.
