Ingredients

    6 large Granny Smith apples, peeled and medium sliced
    cup granulated sugar
    + 1/8 cups flour
    2 tsp cinnamon
    3 Tbsp cold unsalted butter, cut into pieces
    1/3 cup brown sugar
    cup oatmeal
    cup caramel sauce for drizzling

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Place apples and amount of brown sugar, granulated sugar and cinnamon in a medium sauce pan and cook on medium until apples start getting soft, approx. 10 minutes.

2. Combine the remaining granulated sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon, flour, oats and butter together into a medium bowl.

3. Blend together using pastry cutter until the mixture is crumbly. Set aside.

4. Drain cooked apples from excess juices if necessary and spoon into a 9x9in baking dish. Sprinkle crumble mixture evenly over the apples and bake for 30 minutes.

5. Serve hot with a scoop of Vanilla ice cream and drizzle with caramel sauce.
