Introduction

My favorite for a go to snack. Spread it on a pita with crumbled feta cheese. Yummy. I use the juice of a whole lemon to give it that extra little tart taste. My favorite for a go to snack. Ingredients

    Chickpeas (garbanzo beans), 2 cup (set liquid aside)
    juice from one lemon
    Garlic, 3 clove
    Tahini, 2 tbsp
    Olive Oil, 1 tbsp

Tips

Can be used as a spread for a veggie sandwich, spread on feta with crumbled feta cheese, use as a dip for celery or carrots or your favorite veggie.


Directions

Drain chick peas and set liquid aside in a bowl. In a food processor add chick peas and blend on hi setting for about 1 minute. Add garlic, tahini, olive oil, and lemon juice. Blend again for about 3 minutes. Add some of the liquid as needed till smooth. About 3-4 tbsp. of liquid.

Serving Size: makes approximately 10 2- tbsp. servings
