Ingredients

1 lb smoked turkey sausage, cut into 1/2" slices
2 sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into 1/2" cubes
1 large onion, diced
1 bag coleslaw mix or 1 head cabbage, chopped
1 large firm apple, cored and diced
14.5 oz chicken broth
2T prepared yellow mustard
2T yellow mustard seen (optional)
Tips
It's even better the 2nd day, reheated. Adjust ingredients to suit your taste - use more apple or add spinach if you like.
Directions
Pour chicken broth and mustard into a large frying pan with a lid. Whisk together and bring to a boil. Add mustard seed, onions and sweet potatoes. Cook for 7 minutes, until sweet potatoes are slightly soft. Add cabbage and sausage, cover and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add apple and cook for 5 minutes, Serve.
