Ingredients

    Shortening -2/3 cup
    Sugar - 2 cups
    Eggs - 4
    Canned Pumpkin - 15 oz can
    Orange Juice (No Pulp) - 1/4 cup
    Baking Powder - 1tsp
    Baking Soda - 2 tsp
    Salt - 1/2 tsp
    Cinnamon - 1 tbsp
    Nutmeg - 1 tsp
    Whole Wheat Flour - 1 cup
    All-Purpose Flour - 2 cups

Tips

Mix in walnuts


Directions

-Combine Shortening and Sugar with Mixer
-Add eggs, pumpkin and OJ
-Add baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg
-Add all flour
-Whip with mixer until fluffy
-Preheat oven t0 350
-Grease 2 loaf pans
-Bake 1 hour

Serving Size: Makes about 9 slices
