Ingredients

2 Tbsp. olive oil
1.5 lbs. Lean ground turkey
1.25 lbs. Lean turkey sweet Italian sausage
1/2 yellow onion, diced
2 Tbsp. minced garlic
1 14.5oz. can Hunts Fire Roasted Garlic Diced Tomatoes
1 14.5oz. can Hunts Sweet Onion Diced Tomatoes
1 6oz. can Hunts Basil, Garlic & Oregano Tomato Paste
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 large spaghetti squash
Directions
Remove the casings from the sausage. Brown the ground turkey and sausage together in the olive oil in a large dutch oven. Break up meat into small pieces. Add in diced onion and cook until onion is transparent. Add garlic, both cans of diced tomatoes, tomato sauce and tomato paste and simmer for about an hour. Add brown sugar and stir well.
When ready to serve, pierce squash with a fork in several places and place in microwave on high for about 15 minutes - turning over about halfway through cooking. Remove and cut in half lengthways. Scoop out with a fork and spoon. Serve sauce over squash - just like spaghetti.
Serving Size: Makes 12 servings - freeze leftover sauce for later use.
